Following an onslaught of rumors about a new album, Portugal. The Man has announced that they will be releasing their next album, American Ghetto, sometime in early 2010. The album will be 11 tracks long and it has been reported that the group did several secret mini shows during the last tour to build anticipation for the album...

New Music From Seabear
Seabear gives us ‘Lion Face Boy,’ frighten us with their animal combinations.
Seabear is set to release sophomore album We Built A Fire in March 2010. Seabear went from a lo-fi solo project headed by Sin Fang Bous and transformed into a seven-piece experimental indie/folk venture that sold over 20,000 copies of their first album with no promotion at all. Bear Hands release ‘What A Drag’ free for one month.
We all know Brooklyn is a hot bed for the “indie art” rock movement – and the New York community has just made another group explode onto the scene. Brooklyn favorites Bear Hands have just released their new single “What A Drag” for free on Cantora Records. Rogue Wave releases 'Good Morning,' new single off 'Permalight,' due out in March
Check out "Good Morning" - the single off of Rogue Wave's Permalight - due out March 2nd. This will be Rogue Wave's fourth studio release. Front man Zach Rogue thinks this album is a different endeavor than previous efforts. Rogue says, “When I started writing I wanted to make a record that was a little more up, a record you could move your body to because I couldn’t move for so long,” Rogue says. “I told Pat I wanted to make a total dance album.” Rogue Wave also sent along the track listing, which looks a little like this...
