Portugal. The Man Announce New Album And Tour Dates
Things continue to be on the up and up for Portugal. The Man.
Following an onslaught of rumors about a new album, Portugal. The Man has announced that they will be releasing their next album, American Ghetto, sometime in early 2010. The album will be 11 tracks long and it has been reported that the group did several secret mini shows during the last tour to build anticipation for the album. The band has announced that it will be slightly more electronic than previous releases, featuring more electronic beats, synth, and samples. I’m to be getting a kind of It’s Complicated Being A Wizard vibe from this bad boy already.
Portugal. Also announced tour dates for their upcoming 2010 with fellow Alaskan natives, Port O’Brien and The Dig from New York. Portugal. The Man’s website has a free tour download which includes music from all three bands and a few music videos from Portugal.
