Salem Prep Debut Album "King Night"
Salem put finishing touches on debut album for Iamsound Records.
Traverse City natives turned Chicagoans Salem are gearing up to release their debut album King Night in the fall. After releasing several 7" singles in 2008 and 2009, the band transcending their MySpace fanbase and stated gaining attention from music pubications like Fader and the New York TImes. King Night marks the first full album, pushing their progressive urban sound forward. Songs like "Trapdoor," which can be heard on the band's website, seem to combine the band's new urban habitat with their roots in a rural community. It's raw and enegetic, and it'll be a treat to listen to the whole thing soon. King Night comes out September 28 on Iamsound Records.
