New Music From Halsted
Halsted delivers “Walking Shoes.”
Halsted is the work of Ryan Auffenberg and will be self releasing upcoming album Life Underwater. Don’t let the self-release business scare you, though; Life Underwater was recorded in a San Francisco Victorian House and mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Pete Yorn) and mastered by John Golden (The Shins). Everybody needs a little alt-country in their summer. Have a listen to “Walking Shoes” below.

New Music From Jukebox The Ghost
Jukebox The Ghost give "Empire," prep new album for September release.
Sophomore releases are usually a daunting ordeal, but not for Jukebox The Ghost. Jukebox The Ghost went all out second album Everything Under The Sun. The already talented group brought on producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol) to make sure a sophomore slump was completely out of the question. Jukebox The Ghost’s debut album was heralded for witty lyrics and pop sensibility, and Everything Under The Sun seems to be more of the same. Everything Under The Sun will be out September 7. Have a listen to “Empire” below.

New Music From Brothertiger
Brothertiger gives us "Vision Tunnels."
You probably wouldn’t think a reverbed, layered yet fuzzy sound would come out of the (apparently) great folk town of Athens, Ohio; but I present you with Brothertiger. Brothertiger is quickly gathering comparisons to Neon Indian (in a good way) and, once heard, will find his Brothertiger way onto your summer hit lists. Have a listen to “Vision Tunnels” below.
