The Thermals to start US tour in September
The Thermals are ready to get their gear in the bus and get on the road. The band released a slew of tour dates across the US to support their upcoming album Personal Life. Along the way the Thermals will be joining up with Cymbals Eat Guitars and Japandroids. What a perfect fit for the dynamic trio. Personal Life comes out September 7 on Kill Rock Stars. New Music From Meridene
Meridene prep new album, hit road for small Midwestern tour.
Tucked away in Wisconsin is a town called Eau Claire, home of indie-poppers Meridene. Meridene, who find comparisons to Ra Ra Riot quite frequently, are set to release their sophomore album Something Like Blood on September 28. In celebration, Meridene will be hitting the road for a small regional tour, but expect an expanded tour announcement soon. Have a listen to “Gone Baby Gone” below.

Wavves Announce Fall Tour
Wavves prepare for US tour in the fall
As the release date of King of the Beach inches closes, Wavves are preparing to start a full US tour. Wavves will join up with the Smith Westerns, Cool Kids, and Crystal Antlers along the way and close out the tour with a date at Madison Square Garden with Phoenix. King of the Beach comes out August 3 on Fat Possum. Also keep an eye out for their new music video for their single "Post Acid" due out soon...

Zach Hill Preps Solo Album
Zach Hill and a room full of guests fill up Zach Hill’s ‘Face Tat’
It would take quite a list to show all of the bands that Zach Hill has drummed for, so I’m not going to do it (he was, however, in Hella). Instead, we will talk about his solo album. Zach Hill is set to release Face Tat on October 19. Face Tat features a massive amount of guests, including Devendra Banhart, No Age and Scott Herren (Prefuse 73).
