This year should be called "The year of boring albums". There was a wide array of great music that was released in 2007, but some of the big names in music were total disappointments. Of course many of my fellow writers will disagree with me, but that's nothing new. Expectations are different for everyone so this list may not be for everybody. Let the hate mail commence!

We've Got You Covered
Twisted Sister presents a roaring Christmas cover.
Over the last month "We've Got You Covered" has focused primarily on Christmas music. A few people sent emails to tell me that, "Not everybody listens to Christmas music or celebrates Christmas." This is very true, and I apologize if you feel that I was alienating a certain percentage of our readers. I kept everyone in mind this week, because it doesn't really matter what denomination you come from ?every one loves Twisted Sister.
There is something awfully awesome about a band that went through more lipstick in a week than most girls do in their lifetimes singing a song that is considered a church hymn, "Oh Come All Ye Faithful." Equally awesome is the fact that Twisted Sister took this church hymn and then blatantly ripped off their own song, "We're Not Gonna Take it." Listen to this, and then go to Youtube and listen to "We're Not Gonna Take It." It's the same song, and it's awesome.
The drums are rocking, the guitars are completely blistering and Dee Snider is singing a Christmas song. I think we can all come together and adore this song.
We played this on a radio show I was once a part of, and a guy stopped his car outside the station and came up to the front door to ask us what song this was. That's power. Pure power.
