Young Love Record's Quitzow and Setting Sun Start US Tour
Young Love Records offers Quitzow, Setting Sun singles for free
As label mates Quitzow and Setting Sun prepare for their US tour together, their label Young Love Records are offering both of their singles for free online. You can download Setting Sun's “Sacrifice” and Quitzow's “Cherry Blossom” through the provided links. Both bands just ended an extensive European tour, doing twenty five shows in about thirty days. They made it back to the States just in time to celebrate the release of their new albums, both of which were released June 1. Fantasurreal marks the fourth studio release for Setting Sun aka Gary Levitt and features an extensive blend of indie folk rock, heavy percussion, and electronic beats. Quitzow's Juice Water is the latest release from Emily Quitzow that embodies the upbeat dance vibe that she brings to every show. How does an indie folk artist tour with a dance-infused songstress? It definitely helps that both bands share four members that makes up their backing band. And everyone knows that folk rock with electronic influence goes well with an artist heavily inspired by Kraftwerk. Listen to “Cherry Blossom” and “Sacrifice” back to back below and you'll understand. Juice Water and Fantasurreal are available now through Young Love Records. Make sure to catch the two in a town near you.
