The Suzan Announce Debut Album on Fool's Gold
Japanese punk-pop act the Suzan release new single from debut album
Remember when Kill Bill came out and "Woo hoo" by the 5.6.7.8's was the coolest thing since sliced bread? Well forget those ladies because Japanese exports the Suzan are the new girl band to watch. Full of bouncy energy, these girls used their charm and pop guitar to convince Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn and John to produce their debut album Golden Week For the Poco Poco Beat and later caught the attention of label Fool's Gold who quickly signed them. Their single "Home" is a romp through the park with xylophones and tom groove aplenty. Take a listen to "Home" below or download the single from RCRD LBL. Golden Week For the Poco Poco Beat is due out this fall on Fool's Gold/Downtown. "Home" is available now as a limited colored 7" single through the Fool's Gold website and also includes the b-side "Uh Ah."
