Tha Carter IV--best prison break album yet? Is it possible that ANOTHER movie I haven't heard of is topping the box office? How many more questions can I ask?
Wow, I am behind on my Lil' Wayne Freedom Watch! According to...people...he's set for a November 5 release. As his is album, Tha Carter IV. Oh, and he might play a crazy "welcome back, boy!" gig at Madison Square Garden that same day. Someone is going to be a little busy bee! Though I think in this case, he would be a bi-zayy bee or something like that.
Alright, what the fuck? I'm learning so much more about Takers than I actually want to. Like Chris Brown is in it. And he served as an executive producer. Along with T.I., who's also starring in the movie. What. The. Hell. Oh, and thank God--Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, and Hayden Christensen came back from their acting graves to lend a hand. I think this might become my new source of rage--I was looking for an Avatar-esque scapegoat anyway. You'll fail yet, Takers! Please fail before I have to discover your plot.
Ah, Dirty Projectors. Weren't they one of last year's darlings? While I was never their biggest fan, I can always try to appreciate a band that gets everyone else worked up into a lather. For those of you that couldn't get enough of Bitte Orca, mark September 28 on your calendars. Their label Domino will release a double-disc expanded version of the album, complete with B-sides, acoustic performances, and a random cover of Bob Dylan's "As I Went Out One Morning" thrown in for good measure. Sounds like a worthy investment even if you're got the pared-down Bitte Orca already.
