Major Lazer Announces New EP, Teaches Fans Some Dance Moves

Major Lazer to release new EP featuring MIA, remix from Thom Yorke

Major Lazer, the product of DJs Switch and Diplo, is releasing a new EP Lazers Never Die.  If island-inspried dance music isn't your thing, perhaps this may entice you into giving Major Lazer a second chance.  MIA and Busy Signal collaborated with Major Lazer to make the single "Sound of Siren" AND Thom Yoke remixes the song "Jump Up" from Lazer's 2009 release.  Not sure what could be hotter than Thom Yorke, a Sri Lankan, and two white guys performing as a big Jamaician vampire killer on one EP.

Do you know what daggering is?  Unless your culture editor Ryan Peters probably not.  But it's ok, Major Lazer and his friend Skerrit Bwoy are here to help.  The video below displays the proper way to get your daggering on the next time you hit the club.  Lazers Never Die comes out July 20 on Downtown Records.
