New Music From Empires
Empires give HEAVE a taste of ‘BANG.’
You have to appreciate the DIY style of Chicago favorites Empires. Empires debuted with a successful 2008 – recording and touring in support of their first release Howl. In the summer of 2009, Empires went back into the studio to record BANG. BANG was written, produced and mixed by the band – and BANG stays true to the band’s unique use of distribution.
Singles from BANG are being released as “Digital 45’s” (consisting of A and B sides) throughout the next few months – and the BANG deluxe edition will be released with both a digital and physical copy on March 9. BANG deluxe edition will feature all five tracks from the 45’s – plus additional songs and other bonus content.
The release dates for the 45’s are as follows:
Digital Release No 1. – December 8
Digital Release No. 2 – January 12
Digital Release No. 3 – February 9
BANG Deluxe Edition - March 9
