Ghostcat deliver new music

Dancefloor filler by Ghostcat.

Ghostcat’s lead singer, Ali Cat, doesn’t want you being a wallflower. The dancefloor sound of Ghostcat is as frantic as it is confusing and infectious. The confusion comes from the mish-mash of style that might leave your feet doing something that your mind will be embarrassed about later. Have a listen to “Everybody On The Dancefloor” below.

Violens Release Second Split 7 Inch

Violens rework 'Acid Reign' for new split 7 inch

Violens is preparing to release their debut album Amoral soon but aren't leaving fans hanging out to dry waiting for new material.  The New York-based trio contributed to a split 7" single with Twin Shadow as the second installment of split 7" series.  For this single Violens reworked their single from Amoral "Acid Reign" into a 80s synth dream world.  Compared to the original frenzied version, the new version is better suited for your school dance - if you go to the cool alternative school that doesn't mind the f-bomb being dropped in song.  You can listen to Violen's "Acid Reign (In the Trees Mix)" on Soundcloud.  The digital version of the split 7" is available now for download, while the vinyl version is due September 28 and is available for pre-order nowAmoral comes out November 2 on Friendly Fire/Static Recital.  Listen to the original version of "Acid Reign" below.
