Fall is upon us, which means cold weather will soon appear, and rather than spend weekends on the beach, we'll gravitate towards bars to wash down cheap beer, listen to good music and complain about Chicago weather. And you know the perfect band for your background of booze and bickering? Chicago based pop-rock band Probably Vampires.
The local five piece offers up danceable keyboard tinged music that belongs on a jukebox at the dive bar of your choice...

Missed out Music
Sometimes an artist gets overlooked. We try to help.
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly is the solo work of Atlantic Records signed and United Kingdom born Sam Duckworth. Calling him a solo artist isn't entirely true, as his album Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenager is littered with strings, drums and keyboard. Essentially, it’s not just a guy with a guitar.
GCWCF has garnered some mild success – he was up for the 2007 NME’s best solo artist against Lilly Allen, Thom Yorke, Jamie T and Jarvis Cocker. He lost, but being nominated is a feat in itself. Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly is set to release Searching for the Hows and the Whys in late 2007.
Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenager is an essential album to listen to as the chilly Chicago air starts to come through. Duckworth’s voice is sincere, his lyrics are smart and his hooks are catchy.
