Marnie Stern Delivers New Music
New album, ‘Marnie Stern,’ out October 5.
Marnie Stern’s third album, aptly entitled Marnie Stern will be out October 5. Marnie Stern was constructed during a very trying period in her life, and some of the initial recordings were actually lost and refound. This album, ultimately, shows a maturing stern. "I wanted to pay more attention to the delicate and subtly layered spaces in between sound and just make things louder and fuller where I didn't on my last 2 records." When asked to sum her album up she maintains, "It's direct and honest and real. I’m no longer taking cover under guitar lines or yelping vocals." Have a listen to “Transparency” below.
