You's looking good, Emma Pillsbury!
I just wrapped up law school finals yesterday (Bankruptcy!), and I'm back after a week-long hiatus with the outfit Emma Pillsbury wore in the Glee episode, "Bad Reputation." It was a very bold outfit, dark and commanding, which was in keeping with Emma's character that episode because it was the one where she confronted Will and repeatedly called him a slut. As that is one of my favorite words, I have no choice but to heartily approve of this conduct.

I picked a deep red pencil skirt, a lot like Emma's. It's not as orange-red as hers, but I like this better. Emma's a big fan of pencil skirts, and they really play up her vintage style. I paired the skirt with a pair of matching red heels, just like hers, and picked out a black and white sweater from Jones New York. Since this sweater is more evenly balanced (with the black and white) than hers, I didn't feel right going with just an ivory brooch, so I picked one that played up the red a little, too, so it properly stood out when pinned onto the sweater.
And there we have it: a pretty little look inspired by Emma Pillsbury. Next week is kind of a wild card. I have no idea who I'll use as my use, so you'll just have to come back to see.
