New Music From The Morning Pages

The Morning Pages bring classic Americana with their debut album.

The Morning Pages debut full length came together like many other things come together – on a drunken New Year’s Eve night. It was 2008, and a drunken Russell Simins (from John Spencer Blues Explosion) found a drunken Grant Maxwell (The Morning Pages) and started talking about how much he loved their EP. This conversation wasn’t just the alcohol talking, either, as Simins agreed to produce their first full length Rising Rain.

The Morning Pages have already received acclaim from Large Hearted Boy, "Time Out New York" and “American Songwriter.” They’ve also received great praise from American author Stephen Davis (Hammer of the Gods), who stated, "This band is helping to carry the swing for American music of the 21st century, and they do it with a style of their own." Have a listen to “My Name Is Lion” below. Rising Rain will be out May 11th on Zealous Records.
