New Mixtape from K-Salaam and Beatnick Tributes Michael Jackson
K-Salaam and Beatnick remix Jackson – along with Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.
Master producers Beatnick and K-Salaam have done a service to the classics from the minds of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Micheal Jackson. Their eight-track mixtape, Never Can Say Goodbye, remixes some truly classic songs from the three artists. Before you write this tape off because you don’t want to hear some favorites destroyed by the hip-hop produces, know that Beatnick and K-Salaam do by the songs right, with subtle changes to their liking, leaving very dreamy, nostalgic versions of the songs when they are gone.
Beatnick and K-Salaam are best known for their work Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Dead Prez and Damien Marley. This producing duo has quite a repertoire for working with respectable hip-hop artists and making some pretty tracks for the ears of the masses. Check out the tracklisting for Never Can Say Goodbye.
