I've Got Nothing To Worry About
Peter Bjorn and John meet LA hip-hop.
What happens when Swedish trio Peter Bjorn and John mellow verses are omitted and a more ballin’ (no, no not Jim Jones) approach is inserted? Pure abra cadabra type shit is what. DJ Troublemaker’s remix of “Nothing to Worry About” contains such magic that dreams are made of and the track continues offering a sense of happiness in a time of economic grief.
Peter Bjorn and John are not unfamiliar to the remix scene. The last few years have been filled with remixes from Kanye West, Girl Talk and Diplo. Their recent anthem “Nothing to Worry About” from their upcoming album Living Things has been victim for such remix fodder. This time it gets a touch of Los Angeles love from DJ Troublemaker, Swedish MC Adam Tensta, Inglewood based group U-N-I, and The 87-Stick Up Kids. For some reason Tensta comes of sounding a lot like Jim Jones, but with a way better flow.
Troublemaker put it up on his blog on March 18th, considering it his favorite track to date. That’s not hard to understand after even one listen why he says this, despite his large repertoire of remixes. After all, he has remixed Justice, Johnny Cash, and the Flaming Lips with more additive than subtractive methods.
Listen to this new track and drift into daydream while repeating “I’ve got nothing to worry about” over and over remembering, “It’s all gravy baby.”
