News for Now
Weezer, Daft Punk, and Sufjan Stevens. ALL COMING TO YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY. Not really, but I've got some news about 'em all.
Even if you can't get excited for Hurley, Weezer's latest effort, chances are you can pee your pants just a little bit over the Pinkerton reissue. And what a reissue it will be! Come November 2, we've got a double-disc offering, featuring 25 bonus tracks and the standard booklet of photos/essay from a pal. Also, see if you can catch them on their "Memories" tour. Two shows in every city, and at the first, they'll play Pinkerton, and at the second, it's the "Blue Album."
Oh, Tron: Legacy. I feel like you're a hipster's answer to AVATAR. Mainly just because Daft Punk is all up in that soundtrack business. Get your grubby hands on it on November 22.
All together now: God bless NPR. In their continuing effort to stream the greatest music ever on their site, they've snatched up Sufjan Stevens' latest The Age of Adz. Also, Corin Tucker's 1,000 Years is streaming! GET OVER THERE NOW.
