The Ting Tings Stream New Single On Facebook
The Ting Tings let fans preview 'Hands' on Facebook
Who didn't have "That's Not My Name" or "Shut Up and Let Me Go" stuck in their heads in 2008? With both of the Ting Tings singles dominating every commerical, preview, and radio station it was hard not to. Now the duo are ready to get their music stuck in your head all over again with their new single "Hands."
After a very long time on the road, the band moved to Berlin to start work on their new album Massage Kunst. Katie White and Jules de Martino rented out an old basement jazz club in east Berlin and built the empty space into their own studio. “Our time in Berlin was a fresh start, with no rules again” explains Jules about working on Massage Kunst. “When you’ve had an album that’s been successful, the danger is you go back in the studio, look back and try and emulate it." The duo wrote, produced, and recorded the new album throughout 2009 with minimal distractions and are ready to show off their hard work by debuting "Hands" today via Facebook. Fans can log onto the band's Facebook page and stream "Hands" starting today at 5 pm. If you just can't wait until 5 the band did a short video for the New York Post about "Hands" and the new album. Check out the video here.
