Goes "super"
Not to be confused with Super-groups (relatively famous or known artists coming together to form a new band i.e. The New Pornographers, Golden Smog or The Good, The Bad and The Queen). No folks, this is about "super" bands. Notice super is in quotation marks - all you Jeopardy fans already know what that means. Super must be in each of the band's names. I am sure there are many more "super" bands around, but I simply picked some of my favorites (sorry, Supertramp). Let the super listening commence...

The British Are Coming
Radiohead remixed, The Specials reform and The Long Blondes mature.
With the release of second single "Nude" from In Rainbows, Radiohead are now challenging fans to a remix. iTunes and GarageBand are allowing fans to noodle with five separate tracks from the recording. Customers will be sent an access code to rework bass, voice, guitar, strings/effects and drums using the GarageBand or Logic Production software. You can then upload your remix to Radiohead Remix where the listening public has until May 1st to vote...

Missed Out Music
Positively Broken Down - But Built Back Up? Where Is Latterman Now?
Latterman was one of those bands that got you into punk rock. They didn't beat you over the head with specific ideologies and their guitar riffs were always wound tighter than any of Woody Allen's neuroses, making every hair stand on end with each power-packed sub-3-minute track.
Incidentally, Mr. Allen probably would have enjoyed Latterman...
