Let me introduce you to my new favorite Chicago band Archie Powell & the Exports. Singer Archie Powell was sick of bands who put the emphasis on glitz and glam instead of words and music and started Archie Powell & the Exports to combat this droll trend. Their last album Loose Change EP captured the attention of many critics, applauding the band for their infectious songs. A little bit of Elvis Costello with a little bit of Weezer sans the emo drama, these guys really make an impact on your ears. The band recently released their music video for "Enough About Me" off of their upcoming LP Skip Work. Watch the booze-infused madness below.
