Pretty Good Dance Moves Priemere New Single
Pretty Good Dance Moves release new single 'Bad Habits'
Brooklyn/Chicago synth duo Pretty Good Dances Moves released a new single yesterday just in time to for you to blast it on the nearest boombox and/or iPod dock. "Bad Habit" featuring singer songwriter Lissy Truille is like a classic Prince jam with a more talented female vocalist (sorry Vanity). "Someone turned me on to Lissy Trullie a little while back and I immediately became hooked," said Pretty Good Dance Moves member Jimmy Giannapoulos about her guest appearance on "Bad Habit." "After doing some digging around I found the Dazed Magazine video for her track “Self-Taught Learner” online and quickly forwarded it over to Aaron [Allieta] back in Chicago…Aaron and I recently got together to cut a new track that was originally supposed to be a collaboration with someone else but every few hours while in the studio one of us would say 'Lissy girl would be perfect for this part.' Eventually we said…let’s just send it over to her and see if she digs it. Within a few weeks she was in an NYC studio cutting vocals. Lucky us."
Pretty Good Dance Moves's latest EP PGDM is out now on Township Records and is available for purchase here. The band is dividing their time between New York City and Chicago through June playing shows in both cities.
