Do you remember when it was 2008 and you heard MGMT’s “Kids” for the first time? I’m assuming you loved the song. Everybody loved the song. People love the song so much that it’s nominated for a Grammy this year. 2010. Which isn’t even the least sensical thing to happen to MGMT in 2010 – because they are nominated for best new artist. This year. 2010.
Do you remember how “Kids” made you dance? Well, Ben Lee’s version doesn’t do that. Ben Lee’s version does make you realize that MGMT aren’t just some kids with keyboards and a dream.
