New Music From Randy Twigg

Randy Twigg delivers 'Photograph.'

Most of my 1995 was spent pining for some telepathic cross-continental love connection between myself and Justine Frischmann of Elastica. Lofty expectations for a fifteen year old I know, but what else do hip suburban teens have to do when Seattle just never cut it?  Not that Randy Twigg's debut album, Undone, is a throwback to hey days of Britpop, but her style, attitude and filthy grace is seldom touched on these days.

The Toronto/Berlin duo known as Randy Twigg is pure blood and guts electro/rock fun.  It's messy, it's crude - it's everything your parents (and your friends) just might not get or except.  Randy Twigg is the gutter love child of Marianne Faithfull and Stereo Total's Francoise Cactus. That’s never a bad combination.

"Photograph" jumps at you like stocks cars skidding on the rails. Sparks, tires squealing and sudden danger lurk around the corner.

Undone From Randy Twigg is available now via Tigerbeat 6 Records.
