Paper Route Covers Kid Cudi; launches remix contest

Paper Route covers 'Day N Night,' wants you to remix 'Gutter.'

I have been pumping Kid Cudi's track "Day N Night" since he released the single way back when.  The track has slowly become the stoner anthem of our day (take that any Phish song ever) and has carved a special place in my own heart.  And apparently Paper Route's.  The Nashville act was so taken by Cudi's song that they remixed it themselves while on the road with tour mate Paramore.  You can check out their version of "Day N Night" below.  Get ready to get funky.

Going along with their remix theme, Paper Route is also launching a contest to remix their song "Gutter" off of their latest album Absense.  The best remix will receive the honor of gracing Paper Route's MySpace and official website, as well as receiving a signed poster from the band.  So launch your Pro-Tools, or whatever fancy program you remixers use, and get cracking.
Paper Route continues their US tour until mid November, when they cross the pond to Europe.
