Daniel Martin Moore Hits Up Daytrotter
Folk artist Daniel Martin Moore pays a visit to Daytrotter to deliver a gem.
Don’t feel bad if you’ve never heard of Daniel Martin Moore – because his own label had no idea who he was until he sent an unsolicited demo to them in early 2007. Eventually Sub Pop Records decided to take a listen and contacted Moore, who was working at a bed and breakfast in Costa Rica.
Moore now resides on Sub Pop and has one album under his belt, Stray Age, which is one of the most simple, mellow folk records you can find. Daniel Martin Moore was recently invited to Daytrotter, and this Eastern Kentucky native fit right in with the atmosphere. Take a listen over at Daytrotter.
