You can never get enough Bowie.

David Bowie - White Light/White Heat - Taken from his live BBC disc Bowie at the Beeb this is Bowie's take on The Velvet Underground original. Any combination of David Bowie and The Velvet Underground is worthwhile in my book. This double disc is like a live greatest hits collection (skipping any post-1973 Bowie) with rarities sprinkled in as well. This is a must-have for big David Bowie fans, yet casual fans will be surprised how many songs they are already familiar with.

David Bowie - Sons of the Silent Age - Released in 1977 Heroes was quite a departure from the experimental, electronic tinged Low, which came out earlier that same year. The title track was bastardized by Bob Dylan's son (whose band doesn't deserve mentioning) in 1998. Brian Eno's finger prints are all over Heroes and Robert Fripp tears through the album with scorching guitar solos. Yeah, guitar solos are generally pretty lame, but sometimes it's just what you need.

David Bowie - Rebel Rebel - I'm pretty sure everyone is familiar with this song. This particular track is taken from the 50 song Sound + Vision collection which came out in 1989. This version was a rare U.S. promotional single while the original version came out on 1974's Diamond Dogs. Any way you cut it, this is a riff we all know and love.
