Business Casual Superstar

No one here knows what "100 Questions" is or was, but someone is dressing Sophie Winkleman damn well in it.

Have any of you ever even heard of this show? 100 Questions on NBC? Me neither! I found this article about it, though, and it pretty much reinforced my initial thoughts as I watched 2/3 of an episode. I was waiting for the Office to come on and it was just kind of sitting there, in the timeslot right before it, and I decided to give it a chance. I watched the rest of the episode and it was...eh. Live studio audience (so, fake-sounding laughter, as if from a track). The cast is okay, and I like that they have an Asian. None of them are particularly great actors, but they're decent. It's kind of cheesy, and the writing is nothing to write home about. It's certainly not a show that I'll make a habit of watching. In fact, I've already forgotten all about it. To refresh my memory, here's a picture of the cast.

So, here's an outfit I put together that's inspired by Charlotte, the gal in the grey blazer right in the middle. She's a little older, from what I gather (meaning, she's not an early twenty something living it up in Manhattan), and her clothing choices are a little sleeker, a little more polished. Let's have a look-see.

Boot Cut Jeans .......... $15 Trouve Oversized Tunic in Italian Plum .......... $16.90 Leather Belt .......... $11.40 Calvin Klein Dolly Pump in Brown .......... $51.97

We've got our flattering dark rinse boot cut jeans, and I paired them with a purple tunic. We just talked about how to accentuate the waist, and that's what this belt is for. Cinch it over the tunic, at the smallest part of your waist, and last, we have these brown pumps that I love. So work-appropriate and classic.

And there we have it! An outfit inspired by a character on a show that no one has heard of.

I swear, I could run NBC better in my sleep than the current executives.
